Weekend Recap

Another weekend has come and gone and once again the dark cloud that we call Monday is here. So hopefully I can brighten things up a bit with a weekend recap!

Friday night I headed home after work so that the Hubby and I could go to the Sky Sox game with a very good friend of ours. It was our first Sky Sox game of the year and the very first Friday Night Fireworks show too. The game was great, a little chilly at times, but it was a lot of fun. And we won!

Saturday morning I was up at 7 so that I could be out of the house by 8. I headed up to Denver for the day. I went to my Aunt and Uncles house so that I could be my Aunt's hair model for a technical interview that she had to do at a salon. And of course she did an amazing job. 

After her technical we did a little shopping. I was pretty excited because I finally broke down and got a new Coach purse. The handles on the Coach purse that I had were falling apart and I hadn't had it for very long. So we took it to the Coach store and they let me exchange it for a different one.

I decided to go away from the satin fabrics that I usually get. I actually got an all leather one this time. I had to pay a little bit more, but not much. And it is much smaller than my purses usually are. Hopefully I can keep this one clean since it is smaller and I won't be able to put as much stuff in it.

After we did some shopping we headed to lunch. We went to this place called Challenger and got some wings. I know, I know, I shouldn't have eaten them, but I definitely used it as my cheat meal for the week. 

After lunch we headed back to my Aunt's house where she died my hair again for me. I went for a brighter and little bit more dramatic red this time around. I love it. My Aunt always does an amazing job!

After that I headed home and then proceeded to sit on the couch for the rest of the night while I watched the Rapids game that I DVR'd since I wasn't home when it was on. And the best part is that they beat Real Salt Lake!! And they played very well. 

Sunday we didn't do a whole lot. We had planned on going to the movies, but the Hubby got a really bad headache so he spent most of the day sleeping. I did a little bit of shopping and then came home and painted my nails and watched the ACM awards. And that was really it. A very uneventful Sunday.

The weekend was once again, nice, but not long enough. How was everyone else's weekend? Do anything fun?
